Mayor Partners with Business Groups for State of the Township Address
Hamilton Township Mayor Kelly Yaede is bringing in county economic development groups for her annual State of the Township Address in an effort that will also benefit three local non-profit organizations.
Mayor Yaede’s State of the Township Address will take place on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, during a luncheon at The Stone Terrace by John Henry’s (located at 2275 Kuser Road, Hamilton, NJ 08690) beginning at 11:30 am. Following lunch, Mayor Yaede will present her annual address highlighting current efforts and future plans for the community.
This year, Mayor Yaede and Hamilton’s Economic Development Advisory Commission teamed up with local business organizations — the Hamilton Partnership, ShopHamilton and the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce – which are all co-sponsoring the event.
“The Hamilton Township Economic Development Advisory Commission knows how important it is that members of Hamilton’s business community have the opportunity to come together to share ideas and build relationships,” Lori Danko, Chair of the Hamilton’s Economic Development Advisory Commission. “We are certainly proud that we can work together with our partners at Shop Hamilton, The Hamilton Partnership and the Princeton Chamber to meet that need and keep communication flowing about the great things that are happening in our town.”

The cost of the luncheon will be $40 per person (online registration at: www.hamiltonstateofthetownship.eventbrite.com ) Additionally, plans are in the works to livestream the State of the Township Address at the Hamilton Township Municipal Building inside the Council Chambers, where residents will be able to watch the speech at no cost. Residents will also be able to watch a video of the address via the Township’s website and social media accounts following the event.
In an effort to give back to the community, Mayor Yaede has selected three, local non-profit organizations working to combat opioid and substance abuse, that will each receive a portion of the event proceeds: Recovery Advocates, TOPAC (The Overdose Prevention Agency Corporation) and City of Angels.
